I am a fishing guide specializing in fly fishing for trout on the Tuckaseegee River, in Western North Carolina. This wonderful fishery is stocked by the state of North Carolina with 50,000 Brown Trout, Brook Trout and Rainbow Trout, in a 5 1/2 mile run near Sylva, Cullawee and Dillsboro, NC.  The waters above and below this Delayed Harvest section are Hatchery Supported.  Whether you are an experienced fly fisher or novice; as young as my youngest angler (6years old) or my oldest (87) you are in for a memory building day on the water.  Nearly every day on the water is a great day for me, but my special days are when a father/mother is sharing the fly fishing experience with a a child, regardless of age. 
 The top picture is William (9 years old) landing his first trout on the fly rod.  The second picture is Tom (6 yrs old) who just lost his first fish on the fly rod and his Dad, Bill recording his memorable day, and guide, me, who's is loving it as much as everyone put together.
I can tell you from my own experience with my father, lots of years ago, who taught me at the age of 10, how to flyfish for Bluegills and Sunfish in Northern Indiana.  It is seldom that I don't reflect on those experiences with him when I am fishing on my own.  My fondest memories actually.
